A reunion for fellowship, mutual care, updating and planning for the future!
" I will build you with stones of turquoise, your foundation with sapphires." (Isaiah 54,11).
This is the verse that was given both to the whole Pattaya Conference from the prayer team, and also from a dear friend, a prayer partner. In my understanding, you are those stones, the fundament to build on.
During the months that have passed several of you have taken on huge tasks in helping the suffering world! Therefore it is a privilege to invite you all to the Conference in Lisbon, Feb 2-5 2006, to deepen our relationship and to find out how to do the Lord´s work together.
We had a wonderful planning meeting in Germany, where Friedrich most friendly took us into his home and let us meet his family. The result of our thinking is in the structure of the Program you will receive. Antonio is doing a great job to find a location that is suitable and also at a lowcost.
The theme will be "The three stores house" that Derek Christensen briefly introduced to us. Now I will do my best to take us deeper in the theme. The Bible study and the workshops will follow the same track. Felicity (Houghton) Taylor, former international IFES worker that several of you know, has offered to bring the Bible study. Through her guidance she also demonstrates how to lead a fruitful life, one of the best I have ever met. Besides, myself and some of you will help to facilitate the workshops.
We do not plan big, but we do challenge each one of you to invite 2 people that you know will benefit of this event. It should be a person that have done some tentmaking thinking. Sorry, but we can not offer any scholarship, but we do our best to keep prices low.! We pray that you may come! God bless you!
The registration fee is 30.00 € per person and is due between 15 Nov and 15 Dec 2005. We will provide a bank account number soon for you to pay it in.

Your booking will be subject to availability and thus to confirmation. ABLA can receive only 30 guests (we can search for other “good prices” hotels in the area if the number of attendees exceeds 30) Included in the above prices: the breakfast. A taxi from and to the airport is around 25.00 € each way.
NOTE: When you register, please send the date and time of your arrival and departure. If you need to stay in ABLA before or after the conference, please let us know so that we can make the arrangements for you, always depending on availability.
If you prefer, you may select other hotel to stay in the area. The following ones are very close to ABLA:
During the Conference we will have lunch together at ABLA. That means 20.00 € per person for 3 meals: on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th February.
Also, we will be able to enjoy some special diners for the group on the: * 2nd Feb – pizza night: 15.00 € per person + drinks * 3rd Feb – Brazilian barbecue: 15.00 € per person + drinks * 4th Feb – Portuguese meal in Lisbon: 20.00 € per person + drinks + transportation

TOUR: We are planning a tour in the beautiful Cascais area on Friday afternoon. We hope all the group will go, so that we can have a great time out. The price is around 400.00 € for the group, including transportation and a guide. We will give other information very soon.
